What is PitShare?
PitShare is a free community board where robotics teams (FTC, VEX, FRC and others) offer practice fields and workshop space, look for space, and find other teams to co-rent with.
Is PitShare free?
Yes. Posting, browsing and contacting other teams are free. PitShare does not handle payments or contracts; teams arrange rent, schedules and access directly with each other.
Which competitions is it for?
Any robotics program that needs practice or build space: FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), VEX Robotics, FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST LEGO League and others.
How do I find a practice field or workshop near me?
Open the Space available tab, filter by competition, space type (full field, half field, workshop), terms and practice days, and use Near me to sort by distance. Each listing shows the city, price or budget, schedule, photos and whether the host is open to co-renting.
What does co-rent mean?
Several teams share one space and split the cost, for example two FTC teams renting a full field on alternate evenings, or a group of teams forming a new lease together. Listings marked Open to co-rent welcome other teams.
How do I list a space or say my team is looking for one?
Sign in with Google or Microsoft, choose Post a listing and pick a project type: an existing lease recruiting teams, a group forming a new lease, or a property owner renting to teams. Listings need at least one photo.
Why do I need to sign in to see contact details?
To protect posters from spam. Contact details are shown only to signed-in members, and the poster can see who viewed them.
How long do listings stay up?
60 days. The poster can renew, edit, mark a listing completed once a match is found, or delete it at any time. Completed matches stay visible as the community's track record.
Is my exact address public?
No. PitShare shows only the city or ZIP code and places the map pin at city level. Share the street address privately with teams that contact you.
