About PitShare

PitShare is a free community board where robotics teams (FTC, VEX, FRC and others) offer practice fields and workshop space, look for space, and find other teams to co-rent with.

Robotics teams need room to build and a field to practice on, and a full competition field is expensive for one team to rent alone. Existing directories list fields teams are willing to share, but give no way to say "we are looking for space" or "we want partners to split the rent". PitShare covers all three.

How it works

1. Browse. Space available lists practice fields and workshops offered by teams and property owners; Looking for space lists teams and groups that need one. Filter by competition, space type, terms and practice days, or sort by distance with Near me.
2. Post. Sign in with Google or Microsoft and post a listing: an existing lease recruiting teams, a group forming a new lease, or a property owner renting to teams. Add photos, the city, schedule, price or budget and whether you are open to co-renting.
3. Connect. Signed-in members can reveal a listing's contact details and reach the poster directly. Teams agree on rent, schedule and access among themselves.
4. Complete. When a match works out, the poster marks the listing completed. It moves to Completed matches, the community's track record.

Who it is for

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), VEX Robotics, FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST LEGO League and any other team, school, club or league that needs practice or build space, and property owners with space to rent.

What PitShare does not do

PitShare is free. It does not handle payments, contracts or bookings, and it shows only city-level locations. Listings expire after 60 days unless renewed.
